I think I've just come to realize that blew a fantastic summer of taking pictures. Now that fall is just about over and the temps are dipping low the opportunities to just go out and shoot are falling far between. I'll need to revert to indoor photography and setting up lighting and such when I so prefer outdoor lighting. I think everyone has their own idea of how to make it work for them but you know.

With the end of the year comes more and more requests to portraits and then there are Christmas cards and photo presents and.....ugh. I suppose, money is money no matter what form in comes in! Oh yeah, and I need to take new pics of my son to keep my mother satisfied.

My favorite shoots of the month. My best friend and her boyfriend. We were actually hungover as hell (she thought she was going to be sick) and I still pulled off a shot that looks like a Gap commercial. The other was my folk singer who was looking for a CD cover. He is absolutely estactic with what I provided him. That's where the pics of "Old Betsy" came from too. I had a blast that day.

I need to go out for a weekend here very soon and shoot, shoot, shoot. The colors this time of year are vibrant at the right time of day. Of course, I'm in the mood to shoot and the weather is sucky all this week. I suppose, the karma is there so I might as well go with it!
